Birthdays just come once a year, so why not get some good fun out of it? And there is no greater way than to celebrate it with a photoshoot! At William Cee Studios, we love Birthdays and have some variations of Birthday shoots that we do :
- Cake-Smash – This is a shoot that happens when your baby turns a (1) year old. Here the baby is photographed playing with & smashing a birthday cake. Usually a beautiful mess.
- Solo Birthday Shoot – Here you do a shoot solo with your number (age) balloons. We provide this too at a small fee. Just let us know in case you need them and what age you will be turning and we will provide them for the shoot.
- Group Birthday Shoot – Your family or friends tag a long and we get to do a whole shoot together. Please bring the cake with you and any other ‘Birthday’ props that you can find if need be.
FAQ when PREPARING FOR THE SHOOT
is make up necessary for this shoot?
Make-up is of utmost important. Bearing this in mind, we have our own in-house Make-up artist. Our rates are the most affordable in the market to ensure that you get the best value for money. Thus, you can indicate when booking if you need the services for the Make-up artist.
how about posing?
You don’t have to be a professional model to get great photos, but you have to get prepared for the photo session. You have to try different poses at home in front of a mirror from images gotten from magazines or the internet. Instagram & Pinterest can be a great places to start looking.
do you offer props?
Props are a good addition to have for your shoot. We have a few props in the studio but you can also carry anything that can add some fun or personality to the shoot. Some ideas for props can be: Floral, Headband, Picnic Setup, Scarfs, Party poppers, Birthday Cake, Balloons etc.
do you hire outfits?
Outfits are very crucial in getting amazing images. We are planning to introduce outfits for hire in the near future. But we also recommend you both have coordinated outfits (not necessarily matching). Take time in choosing the outfits you will need for the shoot, as this plays a huge role on how your images will turn out. Also, you can have several outfit changes for the session, though we would recommend the below:
· 30 Minutes Session : 1-2 Outfit Changes
· 1 Hour Session : 3-4 Outfit Changes
